House says plush Corona condo not in asset statement

MANILA, Philippines—House impeachment trial prosecutors released at a news conference Tuesday what they claimed was a deed of sale showing that Chief Justice Renato Corona and his wife, Cristina, had bought a condominium unit worth P14.5 million.

The unit at the Bellagio Tower 1 in Fort Bonifacio, Taguig City, has a floor area of 303.5 square meters, they said.

The prosecutors also alleged that the property  does not appear in Corona’s statement of assets, liabilities and net worth.
