MANILA, Philippines — The Judicial and Bar Council (JBC) on Friday began accepting applications or nominations for the Supreme Court vacancy that will be created by Justice Andres Reyes Jr. upon his retirement on May 11.
Aspirants were given 15 days to access the JBC website’s online scheduler, which will send them a computer-generate letter of intent.
The letter of intent, along with the documentary requirements, must be submitted to the JBC by March 3.
The JBC also announced the reopening of nominations and applications for the position of Court of Appeals presiding justice, which has been vacant since August last year.—Jerome Aning
