Foreigner found dead inside Parañaque apartment

MANILA, Philippines — Policemen are now investigating the death of a foreigner whose corpse was discovered inside an apartment in Parañaque City on Thursday morning.

A report from the Parañaque City police identified the victim as Emmanuel Oishi Jones, 25, a Nigerian national.

Initial investigation showed that prior to the discovery, an apartment building caretaker in Barangay San Isidro sought assistance from barangay officials regarding one of the tenants.

Police officers, village watchmen (barangay tanods) and Scene of the Crime Operatives team responded to the area and found the lifeless body.

Jones’ body was then taken to a nearby funeral parlor as police investigators are still looking into Jones’ cause of death.
