Man wanted for child abuse cases nabbed in Legazpi City

LEGAZPI CITY –– A man wanted for charges of several counts of child abuse was arrested on Thursday morning at his residence in an upland village here, a police report said.

Arrested was Robel Macayan, 39, a resident of Barangay Estanza, said Police Capt. Dexter Panganiban, Albay police spokesperson.

Police operatives armed with an arrest warrant swooped down at his home at 11:05 a.m., Panganiban said.

The suspect was facing charges of four counts of child abuse at the Regional Trial Court Branch 9 presided by Judge Jose Camacho Evan.
