MANILA, Philippines — At least six were confirmed killed in a fire that swept through houses in Tondo, Manila before dawn on Thursday.
According to the Bureau of Fire Protection and the Manila Police District, the fire started at the corner of Katamanan and Yuseco Streets at around 2:30 a.m. and reached third alarm at 2:59 a.m.
It was declared fire out at 7:14 a.m.
Six others were also reportedly injured.
Investigators said the fire left some P100,000 worth in damage.
The cause of the fire is also still being investigated.
