MANILA, Philippines—A fire gutted down up to P3 million worth of properties in Binondo Sunday night, an official of the Bureau of Fire Protection said.

According to Senior Superintendent Joselito Quibin, district fire marshal of BFP-Manila, a commercial building at the corner of Caballeros and Lavazares streets was destroyed in the fire that reached third alarm.

The fire lasted four hours, said Quibin, adding that ten units of the said building used to be warehouses of Styrofoam and office supplies.
