MANILA, Philippines — The Senate will suspend its work on Thursday (Jan. 9) in anticipation of the traffic congestion due to the annual Traslacion of the Black Nazarene.
In an advisory issued on Tuesday, all Senate officials and employees were advised that they need not report to work on Thursday due to the expected difficulty in commuting to and from the Senate building due to the procession in Manila.
