MANILA, Philippines — Fire broke out in a residential area in Sampaloc, Manila on Tuesday morning, the Manila Fire Department reported.
An officer from the Manila Fire Department told INQUIRER.net that the blaze struck houses along M. Dela Fuente and Dapitan streets at 8:40 a.m.
After almost 15 minutes, the blaze was raised to the second alarm. It was declared under control at 9:34 a.m.
The blaze was fully extinguished by responding firefighters after more than 10 minutes.
Arson investigators are still investigating the cause of the fire.
