It was in all likelihood a suicide.
Senior Insp. Arthur Quiñones, head of the investigation unit, told the Inquirer the results of the autopsy on the body of actor Tyron Perez, who was found dead in his car in Valenzuela City on Thursday, showed that the cause of death was the sole bullet that pierced through his right temple.
“If we had found other gunshot wounds in his body, then that would have been suspicious. But because there was only one… Nobody kills himself with two gunshots or more,” Quiñones explained.
Aside from this, the results of the test conducted by the Northern Police District Crime Lab and which were released Saturday also revealed another detail that boosts the possibility that there was no foul play in the death of the actor who appeared on the talent search program “StarStruck.”
There was tattooing in the right temporal region, according to the findings, prompting investigators to conclude that the only gunshot wound found in his body was done at close range.
Tattooing, in criminology, refers to the red and black mark formed by burnt or unburnt gun powder on the skin.
