MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.2 earthquake rocked Bansalan, Davao del Sur on Saturday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck at 2:47 p.m. at 7 kilometers southwest of Bansalan.
Phivolcs said the tremor was of tectonic in origin and had a 9-kilometer depth of focus.
The tremor was also recorded at Instrumental Intensity I in Kidapawan City, Phivolcs added.
Pagasa said residents in the areas affected should not expect damage and aftershocks.
