P2M damaged in antique shop fire in Quezon City
MANILA, Philippines –Pre-dawn fire damaged P2 million worth of property at an antique shop in Quezon City minutes after the New Year, an officer at the Quezon City Fire Department said Sunday.
Fire struck the establishment at No. 48 Kamuning Road at 12:14 a.m., said Senior Fire Officer 1 Mauricio Jose.
He said that although no one was reportedly hurt, the fire reached third alarm and did considerable damage to the shop before being put out by responding fire-fighters at 2:08 a.m.
