Several NAIA flights diverted to Diosdado Macapagal Intl Airport due to ‘poor visibility’

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO — Several flights from the Ninoy Aquino International Airport were diverted to the Diosdado Macapagal International Airport in Clark Freeport at past 8 a.m. Sunday due to poor visibility at the NAIA, the president and CEO of the Clark International Airport Corp. said.

Asked what caused the poor visibility, Victor Jose Luciano said, “We are checking. Most probably smoke from firecrackers.
