Motorcycle rider killed in Makati road crash

MANILA, Philippines — A motorcycle rider died in a vehicular accident along Edsa northbound lane of Ayala flyover in Makati City on Saturday morning.
A report from Makati City police identified the victim as Francis Flores, 29, of Caloocan City.

Police said a Chevrolet Trailbrazer driven by Aliw Lumah, 46, hit the motorcycle being driven by Flores at 8:45 a.m.

A traffic enforcer responded to the incident and found that Flores died on the spot.
Makati police chief Col. Rogelio Simon said Lumah is detained at the custodial facility as he will undergo inquest proceedings.
