MANILA, Philippines — Tropical Storm Ursula entered the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) on Monday morning, the state weather bureau said.
Ursula entered the PAR at 5 a.m., said the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa).
The public was also advised to await the next severe weather bulletin to be issued at 8 a.m.

Before the tropical storm entered, Pagasa weather specialist Loriedin dela Cruz said in the 4 a.m. live weather update that Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals may be hoisted over areas in eastern Visayas and northeast Mindanao.
Ursula is also forecast to make landfall over the eastern Visayas-Caraga area on Tuesday night, Dec. 24, a day before Christmas.
