The public was also advised to await the next severe weather bulletin to be issued at 8 a.m.

Before the tropical storm entered, Pagasa weather specialist Loriedin dela Cruz said in the 4 a.m. live weather update that Tropical Cyclone Wind Signals may be hoisted over areas in eastern Visayas and northeast Mindanao.

Ursula is also forecast to make landfall over the eastern Visayas-Caraga area on Tuesday night, Dec. 24, a day before Christmas.
