P9.1-M shabu seized, 2 suspects nabbed in Bacolod sting

MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated an estimated P9.1 million worth of shabu and arrested two drug suspects in a buy-bust operation in Bacolod City, Negros Occidental Saturday night.

The Bacolod City Police Office  – Station 3 conducted the buy-bust operation and arrested Sunny Capa, 22,  a high-value target who previously surrendered to authorities,  and Ely Lorence Sazon, 20.

The operation was conducted at around 8 p.m. Saturday in Barangay Banago, according to a police report released on Sunday.

The seized contraband was concealed in 10 plastic packs and weighed around 610 grams.

Capa and Sazon are detained at the Police Station 3 jail and will face appropriate charges.
