MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of the University of the East-Manila topped the practical phase of the December 2019 Dentist Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Friday.
Elyssa Jane Fernandez Tan got the highest rating of 83.03%, followed by fellow UE graduate John Michael Briones Panganiban with a rating of 82.94%.
Other passers who garnered the ten highest scores are as follows:
- Maxine Anne Alejandrino Remulla (University of the Philippines-Manila): 82.60%
- Lady Jessamine Mamacotao Diamel (University of the East-Manila): 82.37%
- Jayson John Signo Palma (Lyceum Northwestern University-Dagupan City): 82.27%
- Aika Gail Jimenez Vera Cruz (University of the Philippines-Manila): 82.17%
- Ansley Bernardo Yee (University of the Philippines-Manila): 81.80%
- Nadine Angela Paola Macasaet Oreta (Davao Medical School Foundation): 81.70%
- Anna Lorraine Hitosis Tonel (University of the Philippines-Manila): 81.66%
- Marjorie Mariano Orlanda (Centro Escolar University-Makati): 81.27%
According to PRC, 540 out of 1,549 passed the written phase of the exam while 541 out of 687 passed the practical phase.
Successful examinees should personally register and sign in the Roster of Registered Professionals, PRC said.
The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the successful examinees in the said examination will be announced later, it added.
