SAN PEDRO CITY –– A village councilor found carrying P300,000 worth of “shabu” (crystal meth), was arrested for illegal drug pushing in Dasmariñas City in Cavite province on Thursday morning.

Police tagged Bammy Hadji Azis, a councilor in Barangay Datu Esmael, a “high-value target.” He was allegedly a member of the so-called Pangandag Drug Group that operates in the province.
