MANILA, Philippines — Six athletes from Pasay City who won medals in the recently-concluded Southeast Asian (SEA) Games will be getting cash incentives ranging from P50,000 to P100,000 from the local government.
Mayor Emi Calixto-Rubiano announced during Monday’s flag ceremony that gold medalists would receive P100,000 each while the silver and bronze finishers would each get P75,000 and P50,000, respectively.
But first, the city council must pass an ordinance granting the incentives to the six athletes.
