MANILA, Philippines — The northeast monsoon or “amihan” continues to affect some parts of Luzon, the state weather bureau said Sunday.
In its 4 a.m. weather bulletin, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that cloudy skies with light rains is expected over the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon due to the amihan.
The monsoon will also bring partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains over the Ilocos Region and the rest of Central Luzon.
Meanwhile, Mindanao and eastern Visayas would experience cloudy skies with rain showers and isolated thunderstorm due to the easterlies.
Pagasa added that Metro Manila and the rest of the country will have partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms.
