The Christmas celebration in General Santos City, South Cotabato province, goes global with the theme, “Sama-Saya ng mga Heneral sa Paskong Global.”
There will be a display of Christmas villages from around the world, film showing, choral festival, hip-hop competition and pyrotechnic competition.
Dec. 15 to 30: Batac City Fiesta
The city of Batac in Ilocos Norte province celebrates its 13th cityhood anniversary with the theme, “Empowering Bataqueños toward Sustainable Development.”
Activities include fiesta empanada grand parade, balikbayan night, puericulture night and child development centers’ day.
Dec. 15 to 31: Paskuhan sa Albay
Residents of Legazpi City in Albay province lifts each other’s spirits in a monthlong Christmas celebration following the onslaught of Typhoon “Tisoy” (international name: Kammuri).
Activities include a Christmas parade, countryside development caravan, blood letting activity, ballet recital and choir night.
