Technical glitches delay LRT-1 operations
MANILA, Philippines — The service of the Light Rail Transit Line 1 (LRT-1) experienced delays on Thursday morning due to technical glitches.The LRT-1 had to implement a 15-kilometer per hour (kph) speed limit about 9 a.m. as technical issues hounded the southbound portion of the Edsa station.

“Technician is already on board working the fault of affected LRV. Please allow additional travel time of about 8 minutes,” the train line said in a Twitter post.
Replying to a query on Twitter, the management said the Edsa station southbound encountered technical issues that caused the delay.
Hi MJ. Nagkaroon po ng technical issues sa may EDSA Station-SB. Resume to normal running na rin po. Unti-unti na rin pong nagmumove ang mga trains. Ingat po sa biyahe!

It was only at 9:11 a.m. that operations have resumed.
