MANILA, Philippines — Gasoline prices eased by as much as 40 centavos per liter starting at 6 a.m. on Tuesday as pump rates were yet to be affected by announcements that crude oil producers would further tighten supply.
Pilipinas Shell, Seaoil Philippines and PTT Philippines announced the same changes for gasoline, but differed with diesel — no change for Shell but a 10-centavo decrease for Seaoil and PTT.
Petron, Total Philippines and Phoenix Petroleum also cut diesel prices by 10 centavos and gasoline by 30 centavos only.—Ronnel W. Domingo
