MANILA, Philippines — Agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) arrested an alleged drug pusher in Quezon City after they seized from her some 500 grams of suspected “shabu” worth P3.4 million.

In a report, the suspect identified as Mary Ann Francisco alias “Madam” was arrested in the drug bust conducted by PDEA about 8 p.m. Sunday at the parking lot in Cubao, Araneta Center, Quezon City.

Also recovered from the suspect were a cellphone used in the transaction and the buy-bust money, the report stated.

The suspect will be facing a case for violation of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002, a non-bailable offense.
