DAVAO CITY –– The City government of Davao sent three truckloads of relief goods to Quezon province Friday.

The shipment contains about 2,000 food packs and will be distributed to families in Quezon Province affected by Typhoon “Tisoy,” which battered Luzon days ago.

The Davao City government partnered with the Southern Luzon Command (Solcom) to pack and bring the relief goods to the Quezon Preparedness Operation Center.

Major Nor Oropesa, Solcom’s civil-military operations chief, handed over the goods to Sonia Leyson, provincial social welfare development officer of the Quezon Provincial Government. Joselle R. Badilla/lzb
