The 5th MVR will be held at the Quirino Grandstand in Manila.
Through the fun run, the PRC seeks to raise funds for equipment, such as ambulances, boats, fire trucks, and rescue vehicles. It also aims to raise funds for the conduct of first aid and disaster resilience trainings in communities.
The funds will also be used to aid areas hit by disasters and health emergencies.
The race route starts and finishes at the Quirino Grandstand, with u-turn slots at Pedro Gil for three-kilometer (3K) runners and Quirino Avenue for those running five kilometers (5K).
Assembly time is 4 a.m. at the Quirino Grandstand. The 5K gun start is at 5:25 a.m. and 5:50 a.m. for 3K runners.
PRC chapters nationwide will also hold simultaneous runs in their respective provinces.
