Cops seize P1.2-M shabu; 4 drug suspects arrested in QC
MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated P1.2-million worth of shabu (crystal meth), while four drug suspects were arrested during a buy-bust operation in Quezon City late Tuesday night.
A report from the Quezon City Police District on Wednesday identified the suspects as Jeth Russel Biatin, 21; Gerry Roxas, 40; RJ Moralde Viovicente, 32; and Antonio Neri, 42.
Members of the Batasan police station conducted the drug bust along Arocoy Street in Barangay Old Balara, at 11:30 p.m.
Biatin and his three cohorts were arrested after selling P1,000 worth of shabu to an undercover police officer.
Aside from the crystal meth, police also seized cash worth P1,000 and boodle money from the suspects, who are now in custody of Batasan police.
Charges for violation of the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002 are being prepared against them.
