Tisoy death toll now at 13 — police
MANILA, Philippines — Thirteen people were killed in the wake of Typhoon Tisoy’s (international name: Kammuri) track of destruction in Luzon and Visayas, police said Wednesday.
A report from the Quezon Police Provincial Office said one man died in Catanuan City while another person died in Polilio after being struck by lightning.
Camarines Sur Police Provincial Office reported three casualties in Camarines Sur, one each in towns of Libmanan, Goa and Pili.

In Sorsogon, a person drowned in Bulan while another died at an evacuation center in Sorsogon City, Police Regional Office 5 said.
According to Office of Civil Defense – 8, one person died in Ormoc City due to severe head injury and internal hemorrhage.
MIMAROPA (Mindoro, Marinduque, Romblon and Palawan) police recorded five fatalities in two areas. Of the number, four died in Oriental Mindoro while one died in Marinduque.
The state weather bureau said Tisoy was last spotted at 275 kilometers (kms) west-northwest of Calapan City, Oriental Mindoro or 195 kms west southwest of Subic, Zambales.
