UPDATE: Class suspensions on Monday due to Typhoon Tisoy

Palace halts work in gov’t, classes in Metro Manila due to monsoon rains

MANILA, Philippines — Several local government units (LGUs) in Southern Luzon and Eastern Visayas announced the suspension of classes for Monday, Dec. 2, due to Typhoon Tisoy (internationally known as Kammuri).

Tropical Cyclone Wind Signal No. 2 and No. 1 have been hoisted on Sunday evening in more than 40 areas due to Tisoy, which is expected to make landfall over the Bicol Region between Tuesday morning or Wednesday morning.
