LUCENA CITY, Quezon, Philippines — Due to possible severe weather brought by Typhoon Tisoy (internationally known as Kammuri), classes in all levels in public and private schools in Quezon province were declared suspended on Monday, Dec. 2, the provincial Public Information Office (PIO) announced Sunday night.
Janet Geneblazo, Quezon PIO chief, said the decision to suspend classes was relayed to him by provincial administrator Roberto Gajo.
Earlier, several towns in Quezon had already announced the suspension of classes in all levels through the Facebook of the local Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Councils.
