Claiming military officials are not prone to corruption, President Duterte will appoint a retiring general to the Philippine National Oil Co. (PNOC). The President did not name the general, but said the military official would retire from the uniformed service soon. “There’s one coming up. One of the offices of the PNOC is vacant. I’m going to appoint another general there, retiring,” he said in an interview with reporters on Thursday night.
