DID YOU KNOW (women prisoners)

According to data from the Bureau of Corrections, there were 3,257 prisoners at the Correctional Institution for Women in Mandaluyong City as of September. Of this number, 1,683 were from the National Capital Region. Data also showed that 22 of the prisoners were foreigners while 3,235 were Filipinos. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
