3 dead in 2 Olongapo City fires
OLONGAPO CITY –– Three people, including two minors, died after a fire razed their houses here, local authorities said on Thursday.
The local chapter of the Philippine Red Cross said a 40-minute blaze gutted a residential area in Barangay Barretto that killed JM Aquino, 10, and Yvette Bucad, 14, at dawn on Thursday.
Another fire razed a house in Barangay East Tapinac that left a certain Jonel Fernandez dead on Wednesday.
Investigators had yet to determine the cause of the fire. Joanna Rose Aglibot
