Did You Know: November is Environmental Awareness Month

November is Environmental Awareness Month by virtue of Republic Act No. 9512 signed on Dec. 12, 2008.

The law says the promotion of national awareness on the role of natural resources in economic growth and the importance of environmental conservation shall be done through environmental education. —Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
