DLSU grad tops chemical engineering licensure exam

MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of the De La Salle University-Manila topped the November 2019 chemical engineering licensure examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Wednesday.

PRC said 899 of the 1,259 examinees passed the exam.

DLSU-Manila graduate Martin Zechariah Magat Valencia garnered a rating of 86.10 percent, followed by Maru Feriel Olivan Del Carmen from the University of the Philippines-Diliman who garnered 85.80 percent.

The exam was given by the Board of Chemical Engineering in Manila and Cebu.

The date and venue for the oathtaking ceremony of the new successful examinees in the said test will be announced later, PRC said.
