MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 3.4 quake hit Sarangani on Wednesday evening, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) reported.
Phivolcs said the quake was recorded at 6:16 p.m., with the epicenter located seven kilometers southeast of Kiamba in Sarangani.
The quake which was of tectonic origin had a depth of 20 kilometers.
Intensity III was recorded in General Santos, South Cotabato while Intensity I was recorded in Kiamba.
Phivolcs said no damage and aftershocks are expected following the quake.
