MANILA, Philippines — Police confiscated more than P115 million worth of shabu (crystal meth) from two drug suspects in a follow-up operation in Las Piñas City on Wednesday morning.

Members of the Las Piñas City Police Station, Philippine National Police-Drug Enforcement Group (PNP-DEG), and Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency conducted the anti-drug operation at a parking lot located on C5 extension Barangay Manuyo at 6 a.m.

Seized was 17 kilograms of meth valued at P115.6 million found stored inside green tea bags.

The suspects and pieces of evidence were brought to PNP-DEG, authorities said, as appropriate charges were being readied against the two men.
