MANILA, Philippines — Some domestic flights were canceled Wednesday due to inclement weather brought about by the northeast monsoon and intertropical convergence zone.
In an advisory, the Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said the following flights have been aborted:
Cebu Pacific
- 5J 504 Manila-Tuguegarao
- 5J 505 Tuguegarao-Manila
The state weather bureau earlier said that the Cordillera Administrative Region, Cagayan Valley, Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon will experience cloudy skies with light rains on Wednesday due to the northeast monsoon.
It also said that Visayas, Caraga region, Northern Mindanao, Davao Region, and Palawan will have cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms due to the intertropical convergence zone.
Meanwhile, partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers are seen to occur in the rest of Luzon and Mindanao, it added.
