2 mild quakes sway 2 Leyte provinces
TACLOBAN CITY – Two mild earthquakes rattled the provinces of Leyte and Southern Leyte on Tuesday afternoon.
The Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) monitored a 2-magnitude quake felt in Southern Leyte with the epicenter in San Francisco town at 12:43 p.m.

Another quake occurred at 3:24 p.m. with the epicenter located in San Isidro town in Leyte with a magnitude of 3.0.
Both quakes were tectonic in origin.
No damage and aftershocks were reported. /lzb
