MANILA, Philippines — Several domestic flights were canceled on Monday as inclement weather is being experienced in some parts of the country.

The Manila International Airport Authority (Miaa) said the following flights have been canceled:

5J 506 Manila-Tuguegarao

5J 507 Tuguegarao-Manila

The weather bureau said that the Ilocos Region, Cordillera Administrative Region, and Cagayan Valley will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated light rains on Monday brought by the northeast monsoon or “amihan.”

Meanwhile, the easterlies or warm winds coming from the east will bring cloudy skies with scattered rain showers and thunderstorms in the Bicol Region, Aurora, and Quezon.

Metro Manila and the rest of the country will experience partly cloudy to cloudy skies with isolated rain showers due to localized thunderstorms, Pagasa said.
