Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Foundation serves Boholanos
CLOSE to 800 individuals in Loon and its nearby towns in Bohol received free health services, medicines and eyeglasses.
A one-day outreach mission was conducted by the Kapwa Ko, Mahal Ko Foundation Inc.-Cebu on May 15 at the Loon South Central School. It was sponsored by the Cebu Centennial Lions Club and hosted by the Our Lady of Light Parish.
A team of volunteer medical professionals from Kapwa rendered circumcision, excision of cysts, dental checkup and tooth extraction, eye refraction and dispensing of eyeglasses and blood diagnostic procedures like random blood sugar determination, cholesterol determination and blood typing.
Lite Shipping Corp., Wilkris Appliance, the local government of Loon and other private individuals also supported the activity. Parish priest Rev. Fr. Jose Stelieto Ruyeras thanked for the free health services extended to his parishioners.
