MANILA, Philippines—Motorists are being warned to expect heavy traffic this weekend as 7 roads in Metro Manila are scheduled for repairs and reblocking.
In an advisory, the Department of Public Works and Highways (DPWH) said the following roads will be closed and repaired starting 11 p.m. Friday, Nov. 22 until 5 a.m. Monday, Nov. 25:
EDSA
-Southbound of approach B. of P. Tuazon Flyover to approach A. of Boni Serrano Flyover, 2nd innermost lane (2nd lane beside railway)
-Northbound after Aurora Boulevard to New York Street, 3rd lane from sidewalk
C-5/ Katipunan Avenue
-Northbound after C. P. Garcia, 3rd lane from center island
A. Bonifacio Ave.
-Southbound between 11th Avenue to J. Manuel Street, 2nd lane from sidewalk
General Luis
-Westbound from Rebisco Road to SB Diversion Road
Elliptical Road
-Eastbound after Maharlika Street, 8th lane from the outer sidewalk
G. Araneta Avenue
-Southbound from Bayani Road intersection
The DPWH has advised motorists to take alternate routes to avoid expected build-up at the said construction areas.
