MANILA, Philippines—Employees of a lending institution in Las Piñas City were robbed inside their office by still unidentified armed men Thursday afternoon, but no one was hurt, a civilian employee from the city police said.
According to police officer Ferdinand Lalog, three unidentified armed men declared the heist at TSPI Discovery Corporation Lending Institution on Alabang-Zapote Road in Talon Uno, Las Piñas City around 2:30 p.m. and took the personal belongings of its employees.
“Walang ninakaw doon sa office mismo, puro sa mga empleyado lang (nothing was taken from the office, just those from the employees),” he said, adding that nobody was hurt from the incident.
However, the worth of looted items is yet to be determined, he said.
Lalog said the police are still in the area conducting room-to-room search for possible arrest of suspects.
