The operator of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) and Subic- Clark-Tarlac Expressway promised “smooth traffic flow” at the toll roads ahead of the 2019 Southeast Asian (SEA) Games starting Nov. 30.

NLEx Corp., a unit of infrastructure giant Metro Pacific Investments Corp., said in a statement that it was anticipating a surge in vehicular volume during the event.

The SEA Games opening ceremony will be held at the Philippine Arena, which is along NLEx in Bocaue, Bulacan.
