MANILA, Philippines—Mess with a daddy’s girl, and you’ll find yourself in big trouble.
Fifteen-year-old William Claveri Flores was killed by a father and son tandem after an alleged heated argument with an 11-year-old member of the suspects’ family Wednesday evening in Lucena City, police said Thursday.
Police Officer 3 Aldin Rañola said that Flores was on his way home with his friends along La Milagrosa Subdivision, Barangay (village) 9 in Lucena City around 9 p.m. when the 11-year-old, who works as a vendor, emerged from a parked tricycle with her father Rolando Altamira Velasco,38, and brother Clifford Welba Velasco,18, who then punched and stabbed the victim.
Investigation showed that the 11-year-old daughter told her father that Flores threw her merchandise following an altercation, said Rañola.
The victim, who sustained stab wounds in his abdomen, was rushed to Quezon Medical Center but was declared dead on arrival by the attending physician, he said.
Rañola said that Rolando was arrested while Clifford managed to escape.
Police were conducting further investigation to locate Clifford as criminal complaints were being readied against them.
