MANILA, Philippines — A magnitude 4.2 earthquake struck Tulunan, Cotabato on Thursday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said.
The quake struck 6:31 a.m. at 13 kilometers northeast of Tulunan.
Phivolcs said that the tremor was of tectonic origin, and had a 10-kilometer depth of focus.
The tremor, Phivolcs said, was also felt in other areas at various intensities:

Intensity IV- Kidapawan City
Instrumental Intensities:
Intensity IV- Kidapawan City
Intensity II- Tupi, South Cotabato
Intensity I- Alabel, Sarangani
No further aftershocks or damage were expected, Phivolcs added.
