Manila traffic enforcer in bribery video sacked
MANILA, Philippines—A traffic enforcer who was caught on video receiving a bribe from a motorist in Manila has been relieved.
The Manila Public Information Office, in a statement Tuesday evening, said Manila Traffic and Parking Bureau (MTPB) chief Dennis Viaje has confirmed that they have already sacked the traffic enforcer for extortion.https://www.facebook.com/ManilaPIO/posts/725399434611415
The enforcer, who was assigned at UN Avenue corner Taft Avenue under MTPB Sector 5, was exposed via a Facebook video uploaded by a netizen on Monday.
