Central Luzon State University grad tops agriculturist board exam

MANILA, Philippines — A graduate of the Central Luzon State University (CLSU) topped the November 2019 agriculturist board examination, the Philippine Regulation Commission (PRC) announced Tuesday.

CLSU graduate Paul John Maningas Pangilinan topped the board exam with an 89.67 percent rating.

Pangilinan was followed by John Lawrence Agustin Arrogante and John Vicente Asi Garcia, both from the University of the Philippines (UP) Los Baños with a rating of 89.33 percent.

The University of the Philippines Los Baños was the top-performing school with a passing rate of 99.46 percent with 185 out of its 186 examinees passing the exam.

The PRC said 5,538 out of 13,492 examinees passed the agriculturist licensure exam.

The oath-taking ceremony of the successful examinees will be announced later, PRC said.
