LOCAL firecracker vendors are asking the police to take action against the sales of imported firecrackers.

The dealers complained that the sales of imported firecrackers and pyrotechnics is rampant and it is affecting their business.

They find it unfair as they complied with all the requirements to be legitimate dealers.

“Kumpleto mi ug permit ug gi-follow namo ang tanang requirements,” a male dealer who asked not to be named said.

Firecracker dealers have the South Reclamation Project (SRP) as the designated area to display their products.
