DAGUPAN CITY—A criminology freshman saved the life of a distraught 17-year-old girl who leaped off the fifth floor of an unidentified university building on Nov. 10.

Mart Stephen Navarro was among several Reserve Officers Training Course cadets who were in the school for training on the day the girl attempted suicide despite the pleadings of her father.
